How Well do you Give Appreciation, Positive Feedback, a Leadership Key?

To Build on the Best in your business, realize that positive leadership is not just about being nice.

Powerful positive feedback does not just make people feel good, but just as important, it teaches them their strengths. Since we have an appreciation-starved culture, few of us have a clue about our strengths, and we can only learn that from each other with highly skilled specific positive feedback. The less we know our strengths, the less we use them, and then the less successful we are. The Leader's job is to teach people their strengths!

The deepest craving in human nature is to be appreciated.” William James

February means Valentine’s Day -

You know to tell your loved ones that you love them. This year, add something special to make your “I love you” even more powerful: Tell them specifically one thing you deeply appreciate about them. And this specific appreciation you can also give to your esteemed colleagues and clients, to help teach them their strengths. And while you are at it, what are your strengths? How many can you write down? Do this, and appreciate yourself out loud for each one. A positive caring challenge!

Remember to enjoy the process. This can strengthen your spirit and results!

Wishing you the best of success!
