Hello Everyone,
Right now our country stands at the brink of a huge leadership decision,
perhaps the most important of many decades. Our economy is
severely limited by an unprecedented aggregate of events. Many
do not understand the complexity of what has happened or
what must happen to put things right.
But one thing is clear. Our economic growth and repair is the
single most important key to our well being and national security.
Regardless of our political positions on other issues, we must
have a president who will get lending capital flowing, create jobs and reduce taxes.
Our best hope right now is McCain.
I am not taken in by Obama's glamour and oratory, as there are too many troubling
aspects to his past. At best, they indicate that he has extremely poor
judgment in associates and his ethics are in question. While campaigning
for change, he presents a most traditional platform and has taken
huge amounts of earmarks-pork-while McCain has taken none.
As a positive change leadership expert,this is not my idea of change.
As a professional speaker and change leadership expert, I know that motivational
speaking and leading a country are two very different skill sets.
Motivation is necessary but it takes far more than that to
recover from our current state. We need leadership experience!!
Our best hope is McCain now. He is dedicated to our country above all else
and is not at an age where he is trying to feather his political nest for the future.
And his economic policies have a much better chance of setting us right. He
has worked across the aisle for decades. And we need the balance of power
desperately. We have a democratic Congress--we need a Republican
President. It's not that I agree with everything about McCain....but
right now, he is our best hope. Make no mistake.
How about you? Are you using your best skills to promote your economic
survival and thrival during this time? What are your best strengths and
how can you use them to generate more income? Think about it. Talk
to your family and friends about it. There is always more inside of
us than we know. Time to discover and profit!!!

hold a positive vision for our nation. We need all the help we can get!

Old Power, New Power-Which Presidential Candiate is Best?
HI Everyone,
Being a leadership power expert can be most interesting!
Watching the Presidential candidates, I have looked carefully at both of them and how adept they
are at Old Power and New Power. Within the US, we expect collaborative process from our leaders.
President Bush did not do this and paid for it heavily.
Yet in dealing with dangerous Old Power nations with brutal dictators, our President must
be adept in using Old Power, as Old Power brutal dictators from nations or regions
with thousands of years of Old Power brutal dictators in their psychological DNA have no
concept of New Power and respect only Old Power. They laugh at sanctions and fines, and
have no clue about real collaborative New Power.
The US President must be skilled at both Old and New Power in order to protect our national
security and grow our economy, the top imperatives now.
On the Power Evolution Curve, which reflects the Power Shift from Old Power to New Power, Old Power nations are behind New Power nations on the timeline, which causes huge political problems and security risks.
Only if Old Power countries are extremely poor like N. Korea will they come around to a safer nuclear or energy stance. Wealthy dictatorships like China, Russa, Iran, etc., have no reason to collaborate. Thus the US President has to be tough enough to use Old Power as a last resort, of course, to protect our national security yet New Power collaborative enough to work together across the aisle to get things done.
If you apply this analysis, to both candidates, this is what you see:
Sen. John McCain: Clearly can use Old Power and also has worked across the aisle in collaboration, understands New Power yet can protect us. He understands the psychology of Old Power countries and how it differs from our own in the U.S., and how Old Power countries can put us at risk economically and politically because of how they operate.
Sen. Barack Obama: Understands New Power but lacks the strength of ability/willingness to use
Old Power to protect us when needed. Not tough enough and does not understand how the psychology
of Old Power countries can harm us in terms of national security and economy.
Another way to see the election!
Think about it--we are at a crossroads.

At Last, The Positive Strenths-Based Leader Gains Acceptance
Hi, Everyone,
After decades of waiting, I am hearing a few other voices that see the "what's wrong" problem-solving method as a dead end in workplace projects involving people. Even though every MBA program teaches it, I have said for over 25 years, no one wants to be the "what's wrong"!
Do you?
The positive strengths-based approach to leadership and change works so much better and faster.
When people know you look for their best not their worst, they want to engage and are open to change, because, if you are sincere, you have credibility as a leader. One client executive created two successful re-organizations when starting from disasters using my positive systems. He received 2 promotions and became a CEO.
Look around in your business: How many positive vs. negative statements do you hear per day?
I waited over a quarter of a century for researchers to support me and here it is at last: In 2006,
Univ. of Michigan researchers found that the more positive statements in a company, the more profitable the company!
No surprise! Clients find that tough situations turn around quickly and without conflict when positive approaches prevail.
Only positive systems speed you to profit while strengthening all involved.
